An Overview of Coleman Generators

For contractors, the Professional Series from Coleman offers three choices. The DualPower model is an air compressor and generator that runs at 3000 watts, with 3600 watts for surge power. The 11-HP Honda overhead valve engine runs for 10 hours on a 5-gallon tank of gas at 50% load. At 373 pounds, this unit comes with a lift hook for added mobility by crane.

The Pro Series 6500 comes with rugged all-terrain wheels and a fold-away handle. Low oil shutdown protection for the 13 HP Honda overhead valve engine is standard. With running watts of 6500, this model has a maximum wattage rating of 8125. The 7-gallon fuel tank provides 50% of rated power for 8 hours. The 215-pound unit comes with a generator portability kit.

Skin Care and the Aging Factor

3. Sensitivity to the sun. Yes, you do need some sun. But, too much can cause things like skin cancer and other problems that you definitely don’t want to have. Skin tanning is particularly harmful to the skin, if done in excess. It’s nearly impossible not to get any sun exposure, and that wouldn’t be good for your skin either, because the sun actually provides vitamins like vitamin D to help your skin.

4. Wrinkles. Everyone knows about those! Women especially try to do anything to stop wrinkles, because it is the most common sign of age. But, really, too much exposure to the sun is what causes wrinkles, as well as dark pigments and age spots. Like I said earlier, too much sun is not good, but also not enough sun is also not a good thing. You need to find a healthy balance.

And then, another important tip is simply eating healthy; watching your diet. Not only will that help you look younger, and keep that glow and smooth look of youth on your skin, but it will help you feel younger as well. You want to also keep yourself fit, or in shape. Exercising, working outside, and other things that you used to do, shouldn’t stop when you become older unless you are physically unable to. Yes, it seems that those things may not help your skin, but it actually tones it and keeps your skin tight and young looking, instead of sagging and wrinkled.

FHA Loans – The Basics

FHA stands for Federal Housing Administration.  It is a US Government department that was created during the Great Depression to help Lenders remain competitive to lower income Americans during the bad times.  Today, Lenders have chosen to force PMI fees on loans rather than go with the government programs.  PMI is private mortgage insurance, and is often required for mortgage loans.  Today the FHA primarily helps people who cannot qualify for PMI due to health reasons or other reasons and people who cannot come up with a traditional down payment for a home.  FHA programs can help you find a loan while only putting 3% down.

The FHA also helps seniors pull cash out of their equity once they are 62 years old or older.  This is commonly called a “reverse mortgage” in the US.  Rather than making payments and reducing your principal balance, you receive payments and establish a balance.  You need to have a very low balance on your home, and can the AARP to see if you qualify for this federally-insured program.

The Relationship between Credit History and Car Insurance Losses

Since the 1990’s the automobile insurance industry has used credit history in their cost evaluation. It was widely assumed that people with low credit scores have a higher probability of incurring insurance losses.  In May of 2003, the Texas Bureau of Business Research published an objective, non-partisan, study to show the accuracy of this assumption.

The study matched a large database, over 150,000 separate policies, of Texas-based insurance policies against the corresponding credit histories of the named insured in each policy. The study is purely statistical and did not record credit scoring based on income, racial, or ethnic data. Additionally, most of the insurance companies were not currently using policies affected by credit history.

The study found that, in fact, the average insurance losses reported is highest with credit scores considered low, or scores from 0 to 400, and lowest in the higher credit score ratings. Those with no credit history were found to be at higher risk of insurance loss incidences, although not as high as those with the lowest credit ratings.

So, in addition to there being a higher incidence in the number of insurance claims, dollar figure of the claim is statistically higher in those with low credit scores as well.
